kedd 2.0.0 (2026-11-02)
- New bandwidth selector h.scv(): Smoothed
Cross-Validation (Hall, Marron & Park 1992) with
fully analytical closed-form criterion for the
Gaussian kernel.
- New logistic kernel K(x) = e^{-x}/(1+e^{-x})^2,
derivatives up to order 20 and exact constants
R(K^(r)), in all selectors, dkde(), kernel.fun()
and kernel.conv().
- New power kernel family Pow(s,t):
K(x) = c(1-|x|^s)^t on [-1,1], given as
kernel = "pow(s,t)" or kernel.pow(s, t), for any
s > 0, t >= 0, in all selectors, dkde(),
kernel.fun() and kernel.conv(). It reproduces
uniform, triangular, Epanechnikov, biweight,
triweight and tricube exactly.
- nthreads: 0 now always means all cores (capped
by OMP_THREAD_LIMIT) and a call no longer
changes the threads of later calls; h.ucv()
with 0 used a single thread. dkde() and h.mlcv()
now use nthreads. New Cpp_omp_threads().
- Added second author: Amel Henider.
